Expertise in Redshift Administration for managing databases, user tables, indexes, statistics, managing permissions addressing the user issues. Excellent and proven knowledge of AWS Redshift and SQL demonstrated through 8+ years in a Redshift DBA role. Excellent knowledge of related AWS technologies included Aurora, Redshift Spectrum, S3, EMR, DynamoDB and Athena. Business / Soft Skills: Proven ability and initiative to learn and research new concepts, ideas, and technologies quickly. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written, excellent presentation skills. Ability to effectively move forward on tasks even with ambiguous or changing requirements. Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment in a global context. Willingness and ability to train and teach others.
