Candidates must have recent banking experience and long tenure/long projects. Job Description: As a Data Warehouse Support Specialist at you will be at the forefront of our data-driven initiatives, working closely with business, data management, and project management teams. Your role will involve collaborating with technical teams, documenting business requirements, defining technical specifications, and executing project and test plans. Your expertise in data warehousing, along with your ability to facilitate smooth project workflows and support requests, will be crucial to our continued success. Banking experience is considered a plus for this role. Key Responsibilities: Collaboration: Work closely with business, data management, and project management teams to understand and prioritize data warehouse requests, projects, and support tasks/requests. Business Requirements: Interface with technical team members and business/functional areas to identify, document, and validate business requirements for data warehousing projects. Technical Specifications: Create and document technical specifications for data warehouse solutions, ensuring that they align with business objectives. Project and Process Tasks/Flows: Develop detailed project and process tasks/flows to facilitate efficient project execution and data handling. Project Execution: Execute project plans, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Test Planning: Develop test plans, conduct testing, and assist with debugging and issue resolution. Data Management: Contribute to data management activities, including data quality assessments, data integration, and data modeling. Banking Experience: While not mandatory, previous experience in the banking sector is considered a significant advantage. Qualifications: Proven experience in supporting data warehouse projects, with a strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, methodologies, and tools. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements. Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools. Familiarity with data testing and quality assurance practices. Knowledge of data governance, data integration, and data modeling is a plus. Prior experience in the banking sector is a bonus.
