Requirement Designing & Deploying Software upgrades & patching (including testing and implementation) System optimization & administration And Level III Operational Support, as well as on-going Maintenance Monitoring server health and performance to identify issues, bugs, or potential improvements Developing, review, and update existing operational documentation (SOPs, application checklists, playbooks, etc) Provide after-hours on-call technical support and one week a shift month rotation Implement automated near real-time monitoring of all tools to ensure proper operation and collection of pertinent data Incident and Problem Management; including both during and post-incident, along with Root Cause Analysis Collaborate with the Security Operations Center (SOC) team for process optimization, tool tuning & integration, information sharing, playbook development and incident response Qualifications : 7+ years installing, administering & maintaining Oracle Linux and/or Red Hat Linux servers 5+ years designing and implementing redundant systems including: Data backups/recoveries Data backups/ Data backups High availability Load balancing Disaster recovery Experience deploying and maintaining on-premises Linux servers IT infrastructure technologies including virtualization, networking, and storage management Security design & implementation experience Ability to participate in after-hours on-call rotation Knowledge of EMCPowerMax and Isilon storage, including snapshots Scripting with Bash, Perl, and Python Logical Volume Management (LVM) experience including online expansion of file systems Preferred Qualifications: Container-based platform experience Any Oracle Linux experience SUSE Manager for patching Linux servers Red Hat Satellite for patching Linux servers Prometheus and/or Grafana for system performance monitoring Any AWS or AzureCloud experience Application deploymentautomation tools including: Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or Terraform IT automation tools Keywords: information technology green card Texas |
