The Okta CIAM consultant interfaces with agency customers and is focused on designing, implementing, and maintaining an identity provider solution as part of the Virginian Identity program. The position will work closely with development, infrastructure, and service delivery teams to understand their needs and deliver a cost-effective solution. Must have experience using OKTA CIAM, integrating client applications using OpenID Connect (OIDC), Secure Access Markup Language (SAML) and client technologies (.NET, Java, etc.). The candidate will be expected to understand the Okta support system and be able to research Okta documentation and/or contact external Okta resources in order to research and develop solutions to issues as they occur. The candidate will be expected to develop reports and supporting work products. The candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills and be expected to prepare and deliver briefings to COV executives and managers. Require/Desire Skills: Architectural experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining identity management systems using the Okta platform Required 5 Years 3 out of 5 years - Experience as the lead architect where the candidate was responsible and accountable for decision making. Required 3 Years Significant experience in the Okta Identity Engine (CIAM Customer Identity and Access Management) product as well as implementing client application Required 5 Years Experience setting up Okta services for multiple clients, tenants and applications while working in a multi-agency environment. Required 5 Years Comprehend the Okta support system and be able to reach out to extended Okta resources. Required 5 Years Proven excellent written and oral communication skills. The candidate will be expected to prepare and deliver briefings to senior COV executives an Required 5 Years The candidate must be a certified Okta Consultant or possess a similar certification. Highly desired Years Experience in the State and Local government managed services.
