As400 series platform AS400 RPG AS400 CL DB2 400 Key Responsibilities: 1. AS400 Batch Operations Management: Monitor and manage AS400 batch operations to ensure smooth and efficient processing. Troubleshoot and resolve batch operation issues in a timely manner. 2. AS400 IFS Administration: Manage AS400 Integrated File System (IFS), extensively used for distributing reports and extracts. Ensure the availability and integrity of data in the AS400 IFS. 3. AS400 Programming Skills: Write and maintain AS400 Control Language (CL) and RPG programs for various tasks and automation. 4. AS400 Series Database Management: Administer AS400 Series databases, ensuring data integrity and performance optimization. Perform data backups, restorations, and maintenance tasks as required. 5. Healthcare Domain Expertise: Understand and interpret Hospital billing processes. Advise and collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop reports and extracts that support billing and reporting needs. 6. Robot Reports and Utility Software: Utilize utility software such as Robot Reports to automate and streamline report generation and distribution processes. 7. Support Project Experience: Participate in healthcare-related projects, providing technical expertise and guidance to ensure the successful completion of projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions and enhancements as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience in managing AS400 batch operations and IFS administration. Proficiency in AS400 programming languages, including CL and RPG. Strong understanding of AS400 Series database management. Knowledge of the healthcare domain and its billing processes. Experience with utility software like Robot Reports. Prior experience in supporting projects in a healthcare environment is highly desirable. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Detail-oriented and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong organizational and time-management skills.
