Job Title: Linux System Administrator Location: Hillsboro, OR 97124 HYBRIDS, must be amenable to report in the office (Day one Onsite) Duration: Long Term Interview: Webex Hire Job Description: Detailed Job Description Linux Systems Administrator with proven track record of managing large environments, building and delivering complex projects. The responsibilities will include managing a large compute environment running on SuSE operating system but knowledge of other OSes such as CentOS, Ubuntu is helpful. The candidate should have knowledge of how to monitor the environment, develop dashboards, write automations and integrate into the existing environment. He should have strong debugging skills. Knowledge of technologies such as Prometheus, containers (Dockers/Singularity), Cobbler, SuSE Manager, nginx, Jenkins, CICD automation. A prior experience with Intel is desirable. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field. 5+ years Experience with Linux systems administration. 5+ years experience in Automation/Scripting in Perl, Python, shell etc. Familiarity with computing software development, security patching methodologies Linux Architect with experience of managing an eco-system with 100000+ multiple servers in virtual/physical environment Candidate should be strong expertise in Python 2 and Python 3 programming Candidate must have SUSE OS and automation experience The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioural traits: Self-motivated individual willing to work with little supervision and deliver to schedule. Quantitative, analytical and problem/conflict resolution skills. Effective prioritization and time management skills. Demonstrated customers and stakeholders communications skills Ability to review existing architecture and provide feedback plus new solution recommendations. Strong organization skills to define scope and deliverables of ambiguous projects and design project management structure.
