What will this person be responsible for on a day-to-day basis Building automated data pipelines, automating data from on-prem to cloud and vice versa. This is product data that they are pulling from several different sources, so most of her team (10 developers) are 100% focused on data development. This is product data for high-speed Wi-Fi and internet products they manage the data so that those product teams and seamlessly run reports on those internet products (giving them the ability to make better decisions faster) This role is open because while they have the 10 Developersthey dont have anyone validating the integrity of the data (making sure its correct and that there arent issues with what the developers have developed) This person will be responsible for validating Data Integrity each time the developers pump out new code/ data pipelines they will validate the integrity of data by running SQL queries to ensure that the data is correct or finding/ reporting back to the dev team on issues that were found. 2. Is there a specific business unit your team supports Managing data platforms for High-speed Wi-Fi and internet products 3. What % of the job is new project work vs. maintaining whats currently in place All new work (see additional breakdown below: 70% validating the integrity of data pipelines/ sources. 30% doing the actual data/ pipeline development (basically jump in and help the developers while waiting on new data to validate. 4. Can you give me an example or two of projects this person will be involved with/ responsible for Lets say, one of the developers is creating a pipeline for new product (using python & Spark to automate the data in AWS). This person will then test the integrity of the data pipeline after its been developed to ensure its working and is correct. MUST HAVE skillsets: Experience validating data integrity by performing SQL queries on the data tables after the developers have developed the pipeline/code. Must have experience performing the above to find issues and validate data. Exposure to a cloud platform as it relates to how data works.
