Title: Oracle Database Administrator Location: Menands, NY (Work from Office) Duration: Long Term Contract Description: 84 months of experience troubleshooting Oracle 10g or higher database performance and other related issues; specifically by working with other teams to identify if the issue is at the storage, network, database, or application tier. 84 months of experience working with developers to suggest modifications which could improve the performance of their SQL (e.g., avoiding cartesian products, suggesting indexes, etc). 84 months of experience using RMAN for backup and recovery of Oracle 10g or higher databases. Experience must include using RMAN for recovery. 84 months of experience upgrading Oracle Database software, version 10g or higher, in a Unix-like environment (e.g. AIX, Linux, etc). Experience must include upgrading an entire RAC cluster with DataGuard. 7.5 10 84 months of experience patching Oracle Database software , version 10g or higher, in a Unix-like environment (e.g. AIX, Linux, etc). Experience must include patching an entire RAC cluster with DataGuard. 7.5 10 84 months of experience installing Oracle Database software, version 10g or higher, in a Unix-like environment (AIX, Linux, etc) , for a RAC cluster with DataGuard. 48 months of experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control, version 13 or higher. 36 months of experience with Oracle 10g or higher with an application tier which uses IBM Cram architecture (direct experience with Cram itself not necessary). Oracle 10g or higher Certified Professional (OCP) certification. Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field.
