Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design scalable and efficient solutions. Write high-quality, maintainable code in Java for data processing and ETL tasks. Optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability, ensuring minimal downtime. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data pipelines and Databricks clusters. Implement best practices for data security, governance, and compliance. Mentor and provide guidance to junior data engineers. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Databricks and related technologies. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on Databricks. Expertise in Java programming for data processing and ETL tasks. Proficiency in Databricks and Spark for big data processing. Strong knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and data integration concepts. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus. Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
