[email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Title: R Shiny Programmer Duration: 6 months Visa: USC/GC Location: Remote Responsibilities: Work with Subject Matter Experts, Data Scientists and Business leads to understand base datasets, requirements, and desired business outcomes. Design, develop, ship, and maintain R and RShiny features. Propose solutions to the communicated problems. Build and manage intuitive and visually attractive RShiny applications. Develop end-to-end data engineering and machine learning production systems for full stack data science projects. Implement clear, concise, and tested code, preferably with automated testing. Perform comprehensive code reviews. Communicate risks and possible delays in advance. Acting as an expert in R and R-Shiny development. Perform necessary Administrator and Maintenance work to manage RShiny infrastructure. Key Requirements: Bachelors degree 3+ years of experience programming in R or full stack, developing and building interactive dashboards & data visualizations in RShiny on AWS Cloud infrastructure. 3 to 5 years of experience in: building all parts of a RShiny application, including UX / UI Server-side and Client-side processing Hosting, security & authentication Writing SQLs some of the following or equivalents: tidy, dplyr, ggplot, plotly. handling confidential data and information with integrity in a shared cloud environment. Preferred Attributes: Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Python, SAS. Experience with version control systems, such as Git. Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. Adaptable, flexible, initiative and confidence Able to work autonomously within a given structure / assignment.
