Add in some meetings w product teams etc. The Application Support Engineer is a tier 3 support level under Tech Support. They will work in between Tier 2 and Engineer/Developer teams as an escalation/de-escalation point for either. This role will be responsible for supporting internal company applications, determining the appropriate level of support needed for internal teams and applications, training and building documentation for lower level support teams, escalating bugs/errors/issues/outages to appropriate teams, and act as a IT SWAT team for special projects that arise in day to day activities. Responsibilities: Provide technical assistance and support for incoming application queries and issues related to business applications and internal support teams; issues are escalated to app ops via ServiceNow Respond to queries via email, over the phone, or via ticketing system Function as an escalation point for lower support teams Interface with and support higher level engineering/development teams Build documentation and ensure it is maintained Train T1/T2 support staff on new application releases/features Lead or participate in testing of applications after new releases or break fix/outages Run daily end to end testing of all applications (at start of normal business) Troubleshoot encompass latency issues using various applications (Zscaler, jit logs via encompass, meraki for networking) Qualifications: Ability to read/decipher code and error messages with the applications Ability to Read and write power scripting Keywords: information technology Delaware Illinois |
