Experience: 5 to 8 years of experience Must have Skills: System maintenance SOQL Asset Management AppExchange JavaScript problem - solving skillsBusiness ProcessJob Details Our excellent client is looking for a certified SalesForce Administrator/Developer to work on a one year temp to perm onsite contract. Candidate must be certified and LOCAL to MA as ONSITE is REQUIRED. Essential Functions: Coordinates activities with members of Operating Companies as needed for successful execution of the SalesForce process and to achieve consistent and standard results Serves as a champion of organizational change. Work directly with Business POC's and independently perform requirements gathering, development, testing, implementation and documentation related to the SalesForce.com development. Provides and develops optimized solutions according to Salesforce best practices. Implements new business processes through the applications as requested by the user community. Coordinates and supports business Users Reporting needs and provides continuous review and cleansing of data in the applications. Coordinates with business Users to create dashboards with reports that help to manage the work. Establishes specifications for business requirements, upgrades, and enhancements to improve Salesforce functionality and to improve the Marketing, Sales and Sales Fulfillment process. Delivers timely, accurate and actionable business information Ensures accurate and timely reporting for Business Process Conformance and Performance. Audits field usage and overall system adoption on a regular basis; conducts system maintenance. Trains Sales and Marketing, Sales Fulfillment personnel and Field Users on all aspects of SalesForce System reports, configuration, and associated business processes, and assists in the analysis of data and recommendations for Operating Company Business improvements Remains updated with new Salesforce.com features and functionality providing recommendations for process improvements. Prepares documentation such as technical design documents, unit test documents, and deployment documents, training materials including PowerPoints and Flowcharts. Deploys any changes to production using migration tools. Technical Knowledge/Skill/Education/Licenses/Certifications: Good problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve application defects, e.g. software and/or configuration bugs including user errors. Must instruct SalesForce users on configuration setup / reporting and problem resolution. Good organizational skills, ability to deal with multiple and varied System related issues every day. Develop, maintain, create, and improve validation rules, custom workflows, Process builders, Approval Process, Custom metadata types, Custom settings, Page layouts, record types, Field level security, Permission sets, Custom objects, fields, and formulas. Integrate with the company website to develop the web to lead functionality from Salesforce. Develop bilateral Integration with Work Asset Management and Salesforce for data flow between systems. Knowledge of JavaScript, SOQL, SQL and action forms for any development of customized solutions. Work on writing and debugging efficient SOQL queries of standard and custom objects, and able to understand and develop for complex data models. Develop custom Visualforce pages, Apex customizations, buttons, components to meet business needs. Experience in AppExchange products and integration using REST and SOAP is required. The split between System Admin/Developer is 50/50. Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience Masters Degree in Computer Science or related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred Experience: 5 to 8 years of experience Licenses & Certifications: Individual must have SalesForce Administrator and SalesForce Developer certifications.
