The ideal candidate will have 3-7 years of experience in the field, with a maximum of 10 years of experience, and possess a strong skill set in networking, specifically Cisco, as well as expertise in VMWare, Windows, and manufacturing experience, which is a plus. As a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and imizing our IT systems, ensuring the seamless operation of network infrastructure, virtualization platforms, and Windows environments. Key Responsibilities/Network Administration: No design or architecture experience required. Implementation and configuration only. Hands-on experience with Cisco networking equipment. Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, ensuring minimal downtime. Manage and support VMWare virtualization environments. Perform virtual machine provisioning, configuration, and imization. Ensure high availability and disaster recovery capabilities within VMWare infrastructure. Windows System Management. Administer and maintain Windows servers and workstations. Implement updates, patches, and security configurations to ensure system integrity. Troubleshoot Windows-related issues and provide technical support. Manufacturing Support (a plus):If applicable, leverage manufacturing experience to tailor IT solutions to industry-specific requirements. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to enhance system efficiency and reliability. Create and maintain clear and concise documentation for system configurations, procedures, and incident reports. Generate regular reports on system performance and security status. Work with IT teams, including network engineers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure coordinated IT operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects and problem-solving. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field (preferred). 3-7 years of relevant experience in Systems Administration; maximum of 10 years. Hands-on experience with Cisco networking equipment. Proficiency in VMWare administration and virtualization technologies. Strong knowledge of Windows server and workstation management. Manufacturing industry experience is a plus. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
