Position: Platform engineer Location: Chicago, IL (Onsite) Duration: 12+ Months Contract Job Description: 4+ yrs of App development. 1+ yrs experience with AWS or google cloud. Demonstrated ability to architect in any area of cloud platform architecture through advanced problem-solving skills. Strong knowledge of Architecture frameworks, patterns, complex event processing systems, low latency systems, messaging. Strong knowledge on cloud-specific, programming languages, and solid understanding of cloud-based security concepts. Experience using Dev SecOps tools and frameworks for managing infrastructure as code such as CloudFormation, Terraform, Jenkins Git, Chef, Puppet and Ansible etc. Strong understanding of Cloud logging ELK, AppDynamics, New Relic and Splunk etc Experience with Kubernetes and docker. Experience with java Perl, Ruby is plus.
