Role : Battery Lead Validation Engineer Location : Sunnyvale, CA ( Onsite ) Long Term Project Job Description: Minimum 7 years of Testing Experience in Battery systems for embedded products Create and execute test plan for battery validation as per the specifications and regulations. Should have good knowledge in battery testing activities such as Performance, Reliability, Safety, and Regulatory Tests. Expertise in battery cycle testing, including battery charge/discharge testing in different scenario, battery recycling testing etc. Knowledge on Lithium ion battery, Charge discharge cycling, constant current charging & Constant voltage charging, Quick charging concepts, Load for battery testing, battery management circuit and Thermal testing for battery. Should be able to support battery validation to explore boundary performance of battery systems. Knowledge for the assessment of batteries and energy storage systems used in wearable technology devices. Experience in using any battery testing tools for embedded battery systems Record and analyse test data, document test findings and support root cause analysis Responsible for test coverage analysis and system level HW/SW validation testing Should have excellent interpersonal and customer relational Skills.
