Position: Info Management /Data Governance SME Location: San Antonio TX / Remote Type of hire: Contract to hire Required Skills Looking for a candidate with 10yrs of experience who will be responsible to assist the information/data governance team in the formation and execution of data governance framework, policy, standards. Must have experience in implementing Data Governance using some of the industry frameworks like DAMA, especially stewardship, Data Quality, Metadata, Report certification. Expected to review the data governance and information management standards and policies and be able to do gap analysis. Ability and experience to work on RACIs, compare whats existing, analyze the new policy and standard requirement, analyze what DAMA states and propose updated RACI Must have complete understanding and experience in Data Stewardship roles Must have exposure towards major data management related strategic decisions, should have been part of such strategic implementations Very good on powerpoint presentations, wiki page documentation, procedures writing etx. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Communication with staff at all levels within the organization (including upper management, and ability to make presentations) Ability to be a leader, develop relationships, provide direction and oversight, make decisions, and educate others.
