TITLE: Hardware Tester Location: Fully Remote Position Duration: 6+ months contract Job Responsibilities: Hardware Test Engineer to join our progressive and dynamic fast-paced team. This is a hands-on system test role that will directly contribute to the system testing and hardware testing of our cutting-edge cloud connected IoT applications and offerings with the latest software technologies and tools. We are looking for a talented and creative problem solver. You will be involved in the complete software development life cycle: requirement analysis, design review, test strategy, test plans and test case creation and test execution in a hybrid agile environment. This will require a high degree of collaboration between highly talented, cross-functional and geographically dispersed development and test teams. You will work closely with industry-best engineers, developers, product owners and other design team members to understand business needs and system test end-to-end IoT solutions. Responsibilities Should work with product management team to understand product requirement; convert requirement into use cases. Should work with software development team to report defects, debug defects and provide necessary details for quick resolution of issue. Should be integral part of system test team performing test planning, test execution, test reporting. Create detailed and well-structured test plans and test cases. Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate test activities. Execute Functional and non-Functional tests & Identify, record and track defects. Co-ordination and interact with project stakeholders for project related activity. Manage, write & execute test scripts for key programs. Troubleshoot field defects on program with team member and report observations. Basic Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent in related field 3 or more years of experience in hardware testing. 3 or more years of experience in testing mobile applications. 2 or more years of experience in working with databases. 2 or more years of experience with test case management and defect tracking systems 2 or more years of experience with JIRA Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing Preferred Qualifications Experience working on scrum teams in an agile environment. Experience working with enterprise and device controls and IoT applications. Experience working with geographically dispersed teams. Cypress experience would be a plus.
