Bash Programming Basic Linux Administration of File Systems. Linux User Management Linux Security, Network and Firewall management Linux Licensing Linux Troubleshooting for User Administration and File Permissions Disaster Recovery preparedness for Linux Servers by maintaining and tuning backup and recovery processes. Installs, configures, and patches for Linux Servers. Identify and troubleshoot performance issues. Ensure information security. Provide end-user support to technical and non-technical audiences. Skills and Qualifications Strong Linux Administration experience Strong knowledge in writing and maintaining bash shell scripts. Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems Strong Analytical and troubleshooting skills. Strong Technical communication skills String documentation skills Work well in a collaborative team environment Be able to work on multiple projects and assignments at the same time in an organized manner. Experience and Education Minimum of 5 years experience in the last 7 years as a Linux Administrator in a lead role including system specification planning, performance tuning, storage management, back-up, recovery, and Linux clustering. Thirty (30) semester (45 quarter) units of completed, post high-school coursework from an accredited university or technical school in Computer Information Systems, Business/Public Administration, or a closely related field.
