Position: Azure architect Location: Forth Worth, TX (Onsite) Duration: 12+ Month Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into well architected Azure solutions. Design end to end architecture for cloud based applications, ensuring scalability, availability, security, and performance. Lead architectural discussions, review technical designs, and provide guidance to development teams. Create technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design documents, and best practice guidelines. Drive the adoption of cloud native practices, microservices, containers, and serverless technologies. Implement DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless deployment and monitoring of applications. o Perform assessments of existing applications and infrastructure to identify opportunities for optimization and modernization. Stay current with the latest Azure services, features, and industry trends to provide innovative solutions. Ideal Candidate Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus. 5+ years of hands on experience in application architecture and design. 3+ years of direct experience in architecting solutions on the Azure platform. Strong proficiency in cloud native engineering principles and best practices. Expertise in designing highly available, scalable, and secure cloud applications. Proven experience with Azure services such as Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Logic Apps, etc. In depth understanding of microservices architecture, containers (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes). Proficiency in implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps or similar. Familiarity with serverless computing and event driven architectures. Strong problem solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non technical stakeholders. Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer, or related certifications are highly desirable.
