They are responsible to confirm shift handovers are completed and documented. They are responsible for onboarding and offboarding activities, communicating and coordinating with Human Resources and external vendors for staffing issues. This position is responsible for coordination of identified training needs and identifying additional training opportunities for SOC staff. This position is responsible to generate and publish SOC metrics around personnel and workloads. They are responsible for metric compilation and publishing of SOC investigation activities, severities, status for review by Senior Leadership. The SOC has many projects or continuous improvement opportunities internally and externally. The SOC Shift Manager is responsible to document, coordinate and drive to completion these projects.
