Job Title :Cybersecurity Project Manager Location :Dallas, TX Hybrid Visa : GC,USC and GC-EAD MOI : Skype The Cybersecurity Project Manager is responsible for assisting the cybersecurity manager in the planning, implementation, and management of cybersecurity projects. The position guides complex projects from inception through delivery and support, working in close partnership with the cybersecurity manager, infrastructure resources, 3rd party cyber consultants, and executive sponsors, as well as other leaders within the business to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards, and meet stakeholder expectations. This role is also responsible for creating plans to achieve stated objectives, tracking progress against objectives and budgets, driving execution of key projects, and identifying areas to improve project management processes. This individual provides overall coordination, status reporting, and stability of project-oriented work efforts. The Cybersecurity Project Manager will report to the Cybersecurity Manager. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and implement project plans that support business objectives, timelines, budgets, milestones, deliverables, and success criteria Prepare project status reports and conduct meetings regularly on progress, risks, issues, and recommended solutions Review, coordinate, and oversee successful completion of all cybersecurity project activities. Primary point of contact for all cybersecurity projects, including related Change Management activities as required Manage timelines and project priorities; provide timely updates to leadership Document and manage project risk, issues, and changes Manage 3rd party implementation resources as needed Basic Qualifications College degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or equivalent professional experience 7 years of project management experience in software and information technology 3 years of project management experience specifically in cybersecurity Strong computer/systems background with working knowledge of standard IT ecosystem technologies Strong understanding of critical PM concepts and methodologies such as activity plans, milestones, task dependencies, risk and issue tracking, status reporting, and change management. Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles including network security, user access/privileges, incident management, monitoring, mobile access, secure configuration, malware prevention, vulnerability management, and user awareness education Ability to effectively lead an engagement team, making effective and efficient use of project resources, identifying and resolving complex problems/issues related to people, processes, technology, and strategy, both internally (organizational) and externally (client/engagement/project) Interact with other departments and vendors to gather data, resolve, and document complex technical issues for implementation and management of cybersecurity projects Ability to manage projects and teams that do not always report through the same department Ability to learn quickly and adjust to changing priorities while maintaining a positive, can-do attitude Specific Technology Qualifications CISSP, SANS GIAC, CSSLP, CISA or equivalent certification(s) preferred PMP certification preferred Extensive experience with project management software such as Monday.com or MS Project Experience with the following technologies strongly preferred: Rapid7 NetSkope Cisco Meraki security stack including IDS, Layer 7 firewall, Content Filtering, and Advanced Malware Protection for users on our networks Okta SSO Email security with MS O365 Ivanti and/or Intune end point management Experience with SOX controls and overall ITGC policies/procedures Experience with network security design and architecture Experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) architecture Experience with application and network security fundamentals Regards, Sameer Singh TEK Inspirations LLC IT Recruiter |IT Healthcare & Informatics 14138 Badlands Dr, Frisco, TX 75035 Office: 469-498-0449 Email:[email protected] http://bit.ly/4ey8w48 https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=83751&uid= |
