Title - Product Owner Location : 100% Remote Local Only- Houston TX or Charlotte, North Carolina 3-6 + Months Contract Technical Requirements: JIRA Aha MSOffice/Office 365 AWS Adobe XD (nice to have) IOT and heavy API experience. Job Description The Product Owner will: Define requirements for sprint teams - translate the vision of the product, strategy, and customer feedback into engineering requirements. Refine and execute a product roadmap by synthesizing and prioritizing input and requirements. Plan sprints and manage backlog as part of the Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC) process Voice of the Customer represent and articulate customer feedback for internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business problem statements and convert them into user stories. Ensure successful design, delivery, and adoption of solutions. Act as Product Ambassador, sharing knowledge and answering questions about our solutions. Assess value, develop business cases, and prioritize stories to ensure work aligns with product strategy and company objectives. Develop detailed product specifications and ensure they are understood by stakeholders. Mitigate roadblocks impacting team completion of release/sprint goals. Lead product-release plans and set expectations for the delivery of new solutions. Responsibilities Experience with agile processes and customer-focused solutions development Experience in product management, consulting, program, and project management ideal. Must have experience working with a team to build APIs, Software Architecture, IoT data connectivity and Ingestion, and/or an enterprise platform. Proven ability to synthesize stakeholder feedback and translate strategic vision into product requirements. Demonstrated ability to drive prioritization and execution of requirements across multiple sprints. Inclusive leader with proven project/program management experience Strong analytical skills, and ability to grasp complex concepts. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience working with Aha! Or a similar roadmap tool. Experience with Release Management Planning. Capability to assist in Technical Refinement as needed. Must Haves: Prior experience working with a team to build APIs, Software Architecture, IoT data connectivity and Ingestion, and/or an enterprise platform. Experience in agile development as a business analyst and / or product owner and / or software engineer. Attention to detail and critical thinking Proven ability to synthesize multiple feedback streams to create tangible product requirements, weighing both technical and business requirements.
