Role: Node.js Developer Location : Atlanta, GA Contract : 12+ Months Job Description: We are seeking a full stack Node.js Developer with a strong background in JavaScript, PostgreSQL, Docker, and Strapi v4 to join our dynamic team. As a Node.js Developer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining web applications and APIs, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability. This Node.js Developer position offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects, utilizing cutting-edge technologies. Responsibilities: Design and develop server-side applications and APIs using Node.js, JavaScript, and Strapi v4 (a node.js based application). Create and optimize database structures and queries using PostgreSQL to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval. Build and maintain Docker containers to facilitate easy deployment and scaling of applications. Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate server-side logic with user interfaces. Debug and troubleshoot application issues, ensuring robust and secure software. Write unit tests and conduct code reviews to maintain code quality andNode consistency. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and propose improvements to our development stack. Participate in the planning and execution of software development projects, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality code. Maintain documentation of the codebase and share knowledge with the team. Requirements: 4+ years proven experience as a Full Stack Node.js Developer with a strong focus on server-side development. Proficiency in JavaScript and a solid understanding of modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries. Experience with Strapi v4 a plus, including custom plugin development and content modeling. 3+ years of PostgreSQL and database design, optimization, and performance tuning. Familiarity with Docker containers and container orchestration tools (particularly Kubernetes). Version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Travis CI). Understanding of RESTful APIs and GraphQL for efficient data communication. Knowledge of web security best practices and experience in securing web applications. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
