Upgrade of existing Apache/DSE Cassandra DB to higher version. Working on Data Migration activities on Cassandra DB. Debugging Issues and fixing on Cassandra DB with Application teams. Adding / Removing Cassandra nodes or the whole DC to existing DC. Working on automating existing system monitoring/creating dashboard using Shell script, AWS CLI, Python. Handling tasks on AWS architecture and maintaining AWS instances, Auto-Scaling, VPC, S3, cloudwatch, cloudformation. Setting Up OpsCenter. Working on certificates, how keystore/truststore works in DB. Working on Cassandra architecture. Working on Heap, Garbage collection works in DB. Troubleshooting and resolving Jira tickets assigned by different application teams. Working on Elasticsearch, creating Elastic Search index, creating dashboard using index metrices. Documenting the issues and implementing the best practices to improve the productivity and efficiency.
