Position : Power BI Developer

Location : Des Moines IA (Hybrid)

Duration : 6+ Months

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Responsible
for development of SSRS and Power BI reports in accordance with business
requirements. This position will also support development, deployment, and
implementation of the companys Data Warehouse.  The Data Developer will
review documented report specifications, clarify requirement ambiguity, develop
report output, and unit test the reports to confirm data accuracy.  May
also participate in QA or UAT testing as requested.

Responsibilities/Duties/Function/Tasks:

Works with Business
     Intelligence Analysts, internal customers, and external consulting teams
     to understand reporting requirements.

Provides recommendations
     to the internal customers with reporting choices based on future-state
     reporting needs.

Develop SSRS and/or
     Power BI reports as assigned.

Unit test reports to
     confirm data accuracy.

Work with development
     teams, architects, management, and business stakeholders to ensure the Hub
     infrastructure is aligned with business requirements and IT standards.

Implement data solutions
     and designs with high quality to ensure alignment with the data
     architecture and applicable standards.

Qualifications:

Knowledge/experience
     with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).

Hands-on experience with
     Power BI strongly preferred.

Knowledge/experience with
     SQL queries and Business Intelligence concepts.

Knowledge/experience
     with ETL, data models and Business Intelligence concepts.
