Visa- No H1B Title- Salesforce Data Migration Lead Location- Must be based in CST or EST Duration- 6+ months Interview Mode- Telephonic than webex Data Migration Lead job description The Data Migration Lead will lead the data migration development from one Salesforce-based grant-making system to another. Data migration activities will include data mapping, data analysis, ETL, rollback planning, data validation and reconciliation, error troubleshooting, and resolution. This is a techno-functional role that needs to be capable of technical backend development and comfortable with understanding the business processes that data migration supports. The Data Migration Lead also needs to be comfortable collaborating and communicating with non- technical colleagues. Technical Manage data mapping from source to target Understand source and target database schema including child objects and other object relationships Develop, Document, and manage data migration strategy including dependencies and sequencing Work with data migration developers, monitoring quality of their work, troubleshooting and resolving errors as needed Extract data according to defined criteria, maintaining data integrity Transform data to align with target system structure and client requirements Load data into Salesforce, ensuring data accuracy and completeness Validate and reconcile migrated and transformed data Plan data migration roll-back and recovery strategy Experience with ETL tools (Azure Data Factory, MuleSoft, Informatica, Talend, GCP, etc.) Collaboration/Communication Collaborate with SMEs for source and target systems as advisors Work collaboratively with other workstreams functional design, technical design, systems integration, testers, infrastructure and security Identify and escalate risks, and report progress or blockers to colleagues and managers with a diverse level of technical expertise Proactively engage with SMEs and other workstreams to resolve issues Experience/Requirements 10+ years of experience leading data migration projects Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, objects, fields, relationships, and data migration best practices Proficiency in data analysis, mapping, cleansing, and transformation techniques Ability to analyze complex requirements, troubleshoot issues, and propose effective solutions Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills Farah Sheikh Technical Recruiter Trail Blazer Consulting LLC 3811 Ditmars, Blvd # 30 Astoria, New York, NY 11105 [email protected] Keywords: New York http://bit.ly/4ey8w48 https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=853755&uid= |
