Role :- MySQL DBA Location: - FULLY REMOTE Duration : Long Term Contract JOB Description: . **At least 2 years of healthcare experience is required.** Job Summary: Scope of work that they will be supporting. Operational maintenance and support of 200+ database instances across 15 environments. MySQL installation and applying patches and upgrades. Proactive/reactive maintenance Supporting the application dev team (performance tuning, SQL dev) War rooms and incident restoration Self-motivated with great communication written and verbal as well as time availability to maintain the relationship with teams across the globe. Experience: 8+ years Required Skills: Strong proficiency in large scale MySQL database management 5+ years Deep understanding of replication and clustering. Experience with replication configuration in MySQL 5+ years Understanding of MySQLs underlying storage engines, such as InnoDB and other engines. Hands on experience with designing and implementing database high availability solution strategies. Experience on backup solutions and strategies Knowledge of standards and best practices in MySQL Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL statements. Knowledge of limitations in MySQL and their workarounds Experience in MySQL user management.
