Job Description Title:React Node Engineer Location:Remote but MUST SIT IN WALMART HUB LOCATION: Bay Area-California, Los Angeles-California, Dallas-Texas, Hoboken-New Jersey, Bentonville-Arkansas, Seattle-Washington Visa: No H1b/CPT/OPT Duration:6+months/C2H Team: List & Registry team - Frontend Experience Project: -Collaboration between List and Registry - multiple people able to add items to each list. Right now only the creator can add. -Moving items from one List or Registry section to another Tech: -Somewhat flexible,open to people who are more backend focused with Node or more frontend focused with React but need to have fullstack experience. -Typescript, Javascript, HTML5, CSS- all required -Should have hands on experience or have worked with GraphQL in a previous role -NextJS - nice to have, can learn on the job Non-tech: -Strong communicators -Needs people who can explain their though processes -Team players -Quick learners Additional items: -x4, senior level (6-10+ years of strong enterprise experience) Published Description: -Build performant SPA's using React, Redux, Next.js, NX, React Query, GraphQL, HTML5, Javascript, Typescript, and CSS3. -Absolute requirement: React, Redux, HTML5, Javascript, Typescript, and CSS3. -Familiarity with GraphQL -NextJS, optional. -Experience building and integrating Node Backend -Experience in testing frameworks React Testing Library, Jest. -Understand the Business/Customer/Technical requirements and assist in analyzing the existing solutions to address the needs -Monitor and debug production applications using Splunk, Dynatrace to pinpoint root causes and fix bugs. -Improve the quality of software systems for Walmart.com using industry best practices for code quality, accessibility, and usability. -Assist in the selection of appropriate languages, development standards and tools for software coding/configuration -Understanding of cloud technologies and designing solutions deployed to Azure, GCP or AWS -Work collaboratively with other software engineers and teams to improve performance, stability, and resource consumption. -Ensure security policy requirements are properly applied to components/application during code development/configuration -Experience with Agile development lifecycle methodology. -Execute test cases to test the code and detect errors and defects for the entire component -Track and analyze defects for the component/ module and carry out regression testing to fix defects in all instances of code changes -Participate in the discovery phase of small to medium projects to come up with a high-level design by partnering with the product management, Web Operations, project management, business, and user experience teams. -Utilize performance tuning and analytics tools like Splunk, Dynatrace to monitor and identify frontend performance issues and provide solutions to improve performance and scalability. -Create and maintain continuous integration and deployment systems using Jenkins and git. -Knowledge of SEO techniques, understanding of SEO principles, and familiar with modern debugging skills.
