Title: .NET developer Location: Columbus, OH-Hybrid Duration: long term Contract Programmer 5/ PR5 Senior Developer Please submit candidates who can work in Hybrid: M/Tu in the office and W/Th/F at home Allocation: 60% at home, 40% in the office environment only. The candidate will work with The Ohio Department of Commerce development team, database team and architect to develop custom software. This position will function as a Senior Developer with requirements that include: Proven track record of hands-on technical design and code work as a .NET developer. In-depth knowledge of development tools, libraries, and concepts for the following: ASP.NET Core MVC, Entity Framework, and jQuery. Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to work at a high detailed level. Ability to communicate effectively between the business users and technical experts. Translate application use cases into functional applications. Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code. Integrate data storage solutions using EF Core and SQL Server. Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues. Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization. Mandatory Skills: Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent technical study. More than 8 years of experience developing web applications, APIs, and integrations. More than 6 years of experience in the development of custom applications using any combination of .NET Core, .NET Framework, .NET MVC, C#, and Microsoft SQL. More than 5 years of experience using source control tools: DevOps, TFS, Git, etc. Preferred Skills: Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment.
