[email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Description Role: Sr Java Developer Location: San Francisco, CA(Day 1 onsite Hybrid Mode) Duration: 12+ Months Visa : No H1B/CPT/OPT Responsible for front-end coding and visual comps to create a polished and highly functional user interface with a focus on usability and simplicity of design Conduct thorough testing of user interfaces in multiple platforms to ensure all designs render correctly and systems function properly, incorporating feedback from end users as well as members of the design teamwork with a small team to design and build software applications to function within our platform Performs other duties as assigned Helps to advise on architectural decisions and design Helps to identify opportunities in optimizing and automating Process. Creates integration and application technical design documentation. Conducts peer-reviews of functional design documentation. Contribute to intended solution and best practices during development, configuration, and testing phases Completes development, configuration, and unit testing of high complexity applications. Helps perform code reviews and ensures standards are applied to each solution component Resolves complex defects during testing phases Helps provide guidance to other developers in resolving defects Supports and executes performance testing Contribute towards infrastructure and environment setup Production Support: Assists in troubleshooting production environment and tune the environments Ensures best practices are followed from a technical perspective during all phases of the project Required Experience Must have at least 8+ years of experience implementing systems Strong Java, J2EE n-tier application programming experience Ability to design enterprise wide, large scale implementations Web-Development experience: Angular, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, JSON, Bootstrap, NodeJS, XML, Servlet and JSP Strong experience with SOAP/REST web service development Experience in Spring, BPM and Rules Engine. Working knowledge with WebSphere Application server/Tomcat is required. Strong knowledge and experience with relational database technologies preferably with experience in an ORM persistence tool such as Hibernate PL/SQL, Oracle, must have experience in building SQL queries, stored procedures and must understand basic principles of data modeling Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills Must be skilled at writing specifications that other programmer can use to code data interfaces, user interfaces and workflows Good working knowledge of Linux/Unix OS and development tools such as IntelliJ, GIT, SVN, JIRA and Maven Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment with changing priorities with the right attitude and constantly seek opportunities to improve processes.
