Role: Cosmos DBA Location: Remote Type: Contract Job Description: Responsibilities: Azure Cosmos DB SME Minimum 8+ years Database administration experience. Out of which minimum of five years experience in Azure Primary skills: Provide technical leadership and guidance on Azure Cosmos DB Design and implement Cosmos DB solutions that meet the business needs and requirements including: Azure Cosmos DB for NoSQL Azure Cosmos DB for PostgreSQL Azure Cosmos DB for MongoDB Azure Cosmos DB for Apache Cassandra Azure Cosmos DB for Table Azure Cosmos DB for Apache Gremlin Estimate RU/s using the Azure Cosmos DB capacity planner - Azure Cosmos DB Knowledge on Pricing model in Azure Cosmos DB Develop and maintain best practices, standards, and guidelines for Cosmos DB design, implementation, and optimization. Work with development teams to design and optimize data access patterns and query strategies. Develop and maintain scripts and tools for managing Cosmos DB environments. Secondary Skills: Identify Automation opportunities. Post migration validation test results Break-fix Support Good knowledge in Power script Certifications (Good to have) Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Associate Exam DP-420: Designing and Implementing Cloud-Native Applications Using Microsoft Azure Cosmos DB Soft Skills: Good customer connects. Prepare solution presentations. Migration Planning preparations Ability to work well in a team. Good communication and excellent analytical skills Educational Qualification: BCA/MCA/BE/B.Tech or equivalent.
