Position :Sr DevOps Automation Engineer (Lead or Architect) Location :Johnston RI (ONSITE) Duration: 6 months (extendable) Min Exp: 10 years VISA: H1B/H4EAD only (No H1T) Rate: upto $75 hourly Mandatory Skills: Jenkins, nexus, Power, scripting, Terraform, Ansible, Python. Essential Skills: Gather and understand currently deployment architecture of College Raptor apps. Conduct and participate in interviews with College Raptor SMEs to get these details. Validate and assess the state of deployment automation already available in the application. This includes Infra Automation and Application Deployment Determine the end-end approach needed to onboard these applications into CFGs pipelines (Infra + App) to achieve automation for Infra creation and Application Deployment within CFGs AWS. Verify if any automation exists and if so is the same approved to be reused within AWS as per CFGs IAC/CICD standards. As part designing the IAC and Application deployment, document all the open items that requires addressing from CFGs pipeline build teams. Collaborate and coordinate with CFG teams ( AMI team, Infra Pipeline DevOps/CICD pipeline etc. in establishing and finalizing the DevOps solutions needed for College Raptor applications on CFGs Infra and CICD pipelines. Identify backlog items for such teams Determine the readiness of the applications for onboarding to CFG pipelines, Source Control repo, Artifact Repos. For gaps identified provide Solution Approach. Align and get approvals on these approaches from respective stakeholders (Application SME, CFG DevOps Architects, CFG Enterprise pipeline team, Cloud Architects ) Consult with CFGs Cloud Onboarding platform team to get their concurrence on proposed Devops solutions If application is to be hosted in new VPC (apart from existing standard VPCs), then determine backlog items and Key questions that needs to be addressed by CFG and Program team. Assess the applications for any Packaging needs for both custom and 3rdparty libraries of College Raptor apps.
