Hiring manager Notes: Previously worked in Cisco Need someone with a stronger Python coding skills to build lab device monitoring tools and Ansible authoring and management capability. Need tooling background such as dashboarding for lab gear monitoring etc. Need any one or two languages HTML/AngularJS/React/RestFUL API/JAvascript + lots of networking technologies. Should be able to build robust testbeds around Wi-Fi and cellular networks and Ethernet at short notice. Strong networking background. Job Overview: We are looking for a seasoned Network Lab Administrator with a background in Cisco technologies to join our dynamic team at Apple. As a Network Lab Admin, you will leverage your strong Python coding skills to develop lab device monitoring tools, contribute to Ansible authoring and management, and play a key role in enhancing our network infrastructure. If you have a proven track record in Cisco environments and a passion for creating robust solutions, we encourage you to apply. Key Responsibilities: Python Coding: Develop and maintain Python-based tools for monitoring lab devices, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Ansible Authoring and Management: Contribute to the creation and management of Ansible playbooks for efficient network automation, drawing on your experience in Cisco environments. Tooling Background: Utilize your tooling expertise to design and implement dashboards for lab gear monitoring, providing real-time insights and status updates. Networking Technologies: Apply your in-depth knowledge of various networking technologies and protocols to optimize performance in the lab environment. Virtualization: Manage virtualization technologies to create and maintain lab environments for testing and development, integrating your Cisco background into the process. Framework Expertise: Utilize HTML, AngularJS, React, and other frameworks to enhance the functionality and user interface of monitoring tools. API Integration: Work with RestFUL APIs to integrate external systems and enhance interoperability within the lab. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience in Python coding with a focus on network automation. Strong understanding of networking technologies and protocols, with a background in Cisco environments. Experience with Ansible authoring and management. Proficiency in HTML, AngularJS, React, and RestFUL API integration. Familiarity with virtualization technologies. Previous experience working at Cisco or in Cisco environments. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Effective communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
