We are seeking a talented Data Engineer with specialized expertise in Guidewire Cloud Data Access (CDA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and optimizing the extraction of incrementally changing and transactional raw data into an S3 bucket in Parquet format using the Guidewire CDA solution. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines leveraging Guidewire CDA to extract raw data efficiently and incrementally. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure the successful integration of Guidewire CDA into our data infrastructure. Optimize data extraction processes to enhance performance and scalability while maintaining data integrity. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data extraction, transformation, and loading within the Guidewire CDA framework. Implement best practices for data governance, security, and compliance within the context of Guidewire CDA. Qualifications: Proven experience working with Guidewire Cloud Data Access (CDA) in extracting and processing incrementally changing and transactional raw data. Strong proficiency in building data pipelines and workflows, utilizing Guidewire CDA or similar technologies. Proficient in working with S3 buckets and Parquet format for data storage and manipulation. Solid understanding of data engineering principles, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts. Experience with optimizing data extraction and transformation processes for scalability and performance. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex data-related issues within Guidewire CDA. Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance standards in a cloud-based environment. Education and Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Certifications or training related to Guidewire CDA or cloud-based data technologies are a plus.
