In the past, the hiring team has met with candidates who have a strong automation background but have not been iOS specific. These candidates MUST have a strong iOS testing background. Technology being used - Xcode, Swift, XCUITest, GitHub, Jira This resource will be part of the front end team supporting the Personalization Acceleration efforts. The goal of this initiative is to provide customers with meaningful and relevant experiences when using the Kroger app and shopping in stores. The back end team would look into a customers account and pull up UPCs of frequently purchased items, while the front end team would manage what items are recommended and displayed when a customer goes to start their cart in the app. This team is looking for a true senior level resource who can jump in and hit the ground running with not much ramp up time. They need to have a strong automation background and be well versed in iOS testing. This person should have experience as a lead tester. They will be entering a fast paced environment; this team is always running. The ideal candidate will need to thrive in this type of environment. Remote will be considered, though it would be helpful if they were near a hub location, as they'd like to convert at some point in the future. 12 month contract to hire with possibility to extend. This is in the Customer Experience Pillar. Pre-Screen consists of 5 video questions and a games section. No coding. This role is for a Sr. Level QA Automation test engineer for the Front-End Personalization team. Currently the team has one tester who specializes in Android testing, and they are in need of an additional tester to work on iOS Automation and testing. The team needs a senior level SDET to focus on iOS testing specifically. This resource will need to jump in and drive QA standards and be a leader. Technology being used - Xcode, Swift, XCUITest, GitHub, Jira Minimum Position Qualifications: 5+ years experience of quality assurance and testing as well as developing automation frameworks and automated tests Strong knowledge of mobile automation testing leveraging XCode/Swift/XCUITest 3+ years of experience in an automation and performance QE leadership capacity . The actual QA experience should be more than 3 years. Drive the team more than just deliver against their own specific task. Should have lead experience. Experience with the following Github, Jira, Postman and Charles proxy Strong technical expertise and in-depth knowledge of multiple lines of business Understanding of risk assessment and risk management procedures. Strong knowledge of programming/scripting languages.
