Please check the below job description and let me know if you have any suitable candidate for the same: Job Description - Network Engineer III Duration: 6 months Location: Las Vegas, Nevada Position Summary Updated Point;- Palo Alto, Fortinet Data Center tools like Nexus, Wireshark Enterprise Level experience is required. Don't submit any candidate who has not worked with Enterprise Level companies. The Network Engineer III will support a data center network as well as a global corporate network with locations around the world. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and articulate familiar with Cisco equipment (router, switches, firewalls, and VPN), and related network technologies, and have a proven history of using management and monitoring tools. Essential Job Functions: Perform independently to troubleshoot, perform root cause analysis, identify, and isolate technical issues Serve as a mentor through leadership and setting positive examples Maintain and monitor network equipment and capacity Work on systems initiatives and new projects Complete tasks required to maintain service levels and availability of all site features and functions Work with external vendors/consultants to diagnose complex problems and drive resolution Resolve errors and alarms quickly and provide timely escalation Work with external vendors/consultants/carriers as required for troubleshooting and/or initiatives Support process improvements Perform other duties as assigned Requirements: 6+ years of experience using Cisco L3/L2 switches & routers from stackable to chassis and Nexus series, in a multi-site environment 4+ years of experience managing firewall and VPN equipment (Cisco Routers, Palo Alto, and Fortinet experience highly regarded) 7+ years of experience troubleshooting TCP/IP and Ethernet networks. Strong skills in using and diagnosing network captures. Strong understanding of and practical experience with network security best-practices Experience with VPN Clients. Experience with Wireless (Cisco Meraki) systems and technologies Expertise with compression and encryption technologies Must have strong communication skills and the ability to work individually, within a team, with other groups, and with customers. Must have the ability to communicate complex technical problems concisely and professionally to technical and non-technical audiences.
