Role:- M365(Office365) Engineer - SharePoint Online and Migration Specialist Location: - Remote Duration : Long term Contract Job Description: Skills / Experience Required : We are seeking an experienced M365 Engineer with a strong focus on SharePoint Online, SharePoint migrations, and scripting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing SharePoint Online environments, as well as contributing to migration projects to ensure a smooth transition of content and data. This role requires a deep understanding of SharePoint architecture, migration strategies, and scripting abilities to optimize and customize SharePoint solutions for our organization. Responsibilities: 1. SharePoint Online Management: Design, configure, and maintain SharePoint Online sites, libraries, lists, and permissions following best practices and business needs. Collaborate with teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective SharePoint solutions. Provide expert-level technical support to resolve complex SharePoint Online issues and incidents. Monitor SharePoint Online performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system stability. 2. Migration Strategy and Execution: Contribute to migration projects from on-premises SharePoint environments to SharePoint Online: o Ensuring content and data integrity. o Support migration plans, including content assessment classfications, testing, and validation. Support migration tools and scripting to automate migration processes. 3. Scripting and Customization: Use PowerShell scripting to automate administrative tasks, enhance SharePoint functionality, and improve user experiences. Create and deploy custom solutions using SharePoint Framework (SPFx), JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related technologies. Collaborate with developers for integrating SharePoint with other applications. 4. Technical Expertise: a. Stay updated on SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365 advancements, and related technologies. b. Provide technical guidance to junior team members and end-users. 5. Documentation and Reporting: c. Maintain detailed documentation of SharePoint configurations, migration processes, and custom solutions. d. Prepare reports to communicate project progress and resolutions to stakeholders. 6. Security and Compliance: Ensure SharePoint Online environments comply with security and compliance standards. Required Skills: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing SharePoint Online environments. Experience with SharePoint migrations, including planning and execution. Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for SharePoint administration and automation. Familiarity with SharePoint Framework (SPFx), JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related technologies. Strong problem-solving skills for troubleshooting SharePoint-related issues. Effective communication skills. Preferred Skills: 1. Microsoft 365 certifications, SharePoint certifications. 2. Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform. 3. Previous experience with hybrid SharePoint deployments. 4.
