J:D: Job Description Our client is seeking a Project Manager III to coordinate the selection and implementation of new case management software. This will include acting as a liaison between the selected vendor and client stakeholders. The Project manager will develop a project plan and timeframe for selection and implementation of the new software, keep management apprised of project updates or deviations from the timeline, and be the primary point of contact for partners in procurement and IT. The Project Manager will also coordinate desired workflows with a business process consultant and ensure that the software application includes these workflows. Upon implementation, the project manager will schedule team training and create a plan to ensure employees are able to effectively acclimate to the new software. Requirements Must possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices and change management techniques. Track record of successfully completing highly complex projects (5-7 years) Thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment (5-7 years) Critical thinking and proactive problem solving (5-7 years) Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field, or equivalent work experience. Project Management certification or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum is preferred but not required. Typically has 10 to 15 years of IT work experience, including 4 or more years managing projects. Experience with projects in multiple technologies and functions.
