Job Summary:

Requirements

Workday certification. (HCM Core) not Workday Pro certification but Workday Partner Certification is required.

Minimum 1-2 years of system support experience in Workday Advanced Compensation module.

BS or higher in Computer Science or related field from an accredited college.

Configured Multicurrency transactions in Workday.

Created Workday Reports to help in Advanced Compensation Review Process Review.

Configured Merit, Bonus, One Time Payment and Stock plans.

Launch annual / midyear / quarterly Compensation Review Process for Merit, Bonus, Promotion and Stock plans.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem resolution skills

Work directly with HR, Payroll and IT partners to confirm requirements, identify gaps and risks, suggest alternatives, advice on best practices, facilitate
discussions and ultimately drive requirements to sign-off

Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and presentation skills.

Diagnose and resolve user problems and educate users on resolutions promptly.

Ability to understand and identify business needs and translate those to a technical solution.

Required to be on-call for support issues during non-business hours on a need basis.

Title: Application Support Engineer

Location: Fremont, CA (Day one onsite) Local only

Duration: Long term

Experience: 7+ years

Rate: $65/hr ON C2C all inclusive

Description:

The Application Support Engineer is responsible to provide successful implementation and management of Tesla services (applications) in the production environments and Provide Level II support to ensure
the service meets the quality, security and compliance standards, providing the documentation for the ongoing support and maintenance of the systems. This position will be located at our Fremont, CA office.

Responsibilities

Deliver quality second level technical solutions to our user problems, troubleshooting their issues, providing technical guidance, and performing implementation reviews

Act as a single point of contact and ensures that all application support requests are recorded in a timely, courteous, and accurate manner.

Advocate new product features and ensure the resolution of technical challenges

Follow-up on tickets resolved by internal IT teams to ensure communication to the customer with high degree of satisfaction based on results and level of service.

Liaison for Level III Information Technology development support.

Executes monitors and completes assigned tasks on multiple computer systems and platforms.

Documents and maintains shift documentation in ticket management system.

Work closely with the US/Offshore counterparts and Leads in ensuring timely resolution of issues.

Works with high integrity, follows procedures and policies with the handling of sensitive data

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years' experience with Windows, Unix, PL-SQL or the equivalent in experience and evidence of exceptional ability

Technical skills: .net, SQL Server, JavaScript, HTML, MS Windows

At least 1 year experience in Application support working in a globally distributed team is preferred

Good experience with ITIL, BMC Remedy or Service Now and ticketing workflows is preferred

Handling EDI or Supply Chain or delivery systems is a plus.

Good verbal and written communication skills is preferred

BS degree in Engineering or equivalent in Computer Science or the equivalent in experience and evidence of exceptional ability
