SAS wants to stress SAS MICS-to-MXG (Marble WS08) consultant/contractor/associate candidate consideration: POSITION TITLE: IBM z/OS MVS (mainframe) Systems Performance Analyst POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Qualified candidate shall be knowledgeable, with recent-experience and self-directed / skilled in IBM z/OS MVS environment; suitable TSO/ISPF end-user access/use experience; IBM z/OS MVS JCL language usage experience; moderately skilled (a minimum of 6-years experience) in SAS Base programming language (e.g., statistical analysis, information/data presentation, data/quality verification, using SAS z/OS softwares DATA step, PROC/procedure usage, and SAS ODS / Output Delivery Subsystem) both new SAS program composition and existing SAS program/code support and maintenance; additionally, current-technology experience with IBM z/OS mainframe systems performance and capacity management analysis using SMF / system-log data sources, with MXG (vendor: Merrill Consultants) and/or MICS (vendor: Broadcom/CA) analytic software databases; as well, exhibit both verbal and written communication and work-product documentation skills in position-related subject matter regarding IBM Z systems performance management (IT Resource Management disciplines.)
