Role : Programmer Analyst IV Client : ST of WI Location : Madison, WI. Hybrid Duration : 12+ month contract Rate : $50/hr Max MOI : Phone/Skype Visa : No H1B/CPT Role This Programmer Analyst IV position is needed in the WisDOT BPD-Project Management Unit, Proposal Management Unit and Design and Construction Technology Unit in support of data and application services for the WisDOT Division of Transportation Systems Development (DTSD). The contractor has extensive experience in project management such as, requirements gathering, software development project management, software testing, and release management. In addition, this contractor has experience with data management, report development, and reporting. The contractor has experience with software applications such as MS Office applications, SharePoint, SAP Business Objects, Tableau, GIS mapping software. The contractor has excellent communication skills and works with permanent staff to enforce policies, standards, and procedures followed at WisDOT. Data and application analysis on existing WisDOT business systems and analysis of new technology in the delivery of new or enhanced systems. Analyze, develop, and test software requirements relative to computer systems. Experience troubleshooting technology support issues. Ability to perform testing of applications, facilitate testing by others, and document results. Involvement in database maintenance to assure highest level of system availability and performance. Collaborate with BITS and business unit staff and management on all aspects of projects. Develop plans for acceptance testing. Demonstrate expertise in implementation of Content Management System (CMS) sites. Function as a contact for project management systems and aids or independent project leadership in the release, maintenance and problem resolution of computer platforms, software systems, and applications software. Prepare detailed documents for project management such as schedules, requirements, risk, test plans, communication plans, training materials, decision documents, flow charts, etc. Required Skills Data Analysis, Data Query (SQL, SAP Business Objects). 5+ years of experience with at least one of the technologies, but Business Objects is preferred. Data Reporting (SAP Business Objects, Tableau). Some experience in both, does not need to be 5 years each. Tableau experience is a plus but not required.
