Ideal candidates must have experience at large firms managing and supporting AWS Workspaces, Azure Virtual Desktops, VMWare Horizon Cloud, and/or W365 Cloud environments for 5000+ clients. Responsible for managing and supporting the enterprise virtual environment which includes: Improving patch and vulnerability compliance across entire virtual desktop ecosystem Improving operational support and requests for virtual systems Overseeing problem management activities and tier-three support in problem / issue escalations Providing training to operations and engineering staff as needed Providing troubleshooting expertise for internal and external escalations REQUIREMENTS: Qualified candidates should have a bachelors degree or equivalent work experience. Must have a minimum of 10+ years experience in Information Technology, with 3+ years in desktop / end user systems engineering and administration. In-depth knowledge of the Windows operating systems in an enterprise environment. Knowledge of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, routing protocols. Comfortable with IT security and compliance best practices Strong virtual and software troubleshooting skills Proficient in automated workstation build methodologies Experience working with software packaging and deployment systems Proficient in automation and scripting skills (Ansible, Bash, Perl, Python, PowerShell) Experience working with AWS Workspace, VMWare Horizon Cloud, Micrososft W365, and/or Microsoft AzureAD Experience with implementing, deploying, and supporting virtual infrastructure Extensive familiarity with major application configurations PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: AWS, Microsoft, or VMWare Cloud certifications Responsible, reliable, takes initiative, patient, determined, assertive, inquisitive, has tenacity, and a desire to learn.
