Quality Assurance Analyst 6-12 Months Contract to Hire Montgomery, AL (Onsite) and Interview: Face to Face Update : Video Interview can be conducted for Non- Locals Responsibilities: Design, execute, and debug test plans of software applications based on business requirements and technical specifications. Review project requirements and develop appropriate test cases to validate all project requirements are met and produce the expected results. Detect and identify web-based configuration/workflow failures so that issues are discovered, documented, corrected, and retested. Evaluate software ease of usability and error handling procedures. Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management. Document test results and generate historical analysis of applications capabilities and functionality. Document configuration anomalies and defects in an issue tracking database. Participate in application planning/design meetings. Provide application instructions for users. Experience Required: 10+ years of software testing experience. 5+ years of experience with the following: Performing software testing. Creating test cases. Web-based software/application testing. Requirements traceability. Microsoft Windows PC and web browser testing environment. Education Required: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar. (Equivalent work experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis).
