Candidate should be local and have 9+ years of exp Our client is a Livingston, NJ based financial company with an immediate need for an experienced QA Engineer for their long-term project. The role is in a financial product group that will test applications for Retirement account. This is a hybrid onsite role requiring 3x a week onsite in Livingston. This is a contract-to-hire so any C2C vendors will need to provide a 6 month release. Role requires the following experience: Automated and manual testing experience for UI/API/DB, using Postman, Selenium (will develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts), LoadRunner, Cucumber and SoapUI. Design and develop detailed test plans, ensuring full coverage of requirements. Execute manual and automated tests, identifying and documenting defects. Familiarity working in ASP.NET/.NET/C# MS SQL Server, and able to write complex SQL queries, understand stored procedures, and ensure data consistency. DB2 Blackbox testing Will be required to regularly report on testing progress, issues, and quality metrics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Use JIRA or other defect tracking tools to report issues and monitor their resolution. Deep understanding of SDLC, especially Agile methodologies.
