Responsibilities: - Manage a Multi-Pod VMware Horizon Infrastructure. - Support modern Windows 10/11 golden images for all VDI environments - Support patching and application updates - Work with the VDI team to refine and implement logging, alerting, and monitoring - Communicate effectively with Service Reliability Engineers and DevOps team Mandatory Skills Description: - Energetic self-starter with a positive/flexible attitude - Hungry to learn technology in Healthcare IT - Proficient use of scripting technologies (Power, PowerCLI) - Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols - Communication at all levels and the ability to write strong technical documentation - Experience with Logging & Monitoring tools such as Grafana, or an equivalent Nice-to-Have Skills: - Certifications: VMware Certified Professiona - Datacenter Virtualization, VMware Advanced Professional - Desktop Management Design, Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert. - Virtualization experience including VMWare vSphere, VMware Aria Operations, VMware vRealize Orchestrator, Azure Cloud, Microsoft Server and Microsoft Windows 10/11 - Proficient use of orchestration and scripting tools; GitHub, Jenkins, Hashicorp Packer and Terraform.
