This includes the following responsibilities & technologies areas: Proficient with VMware vSphere, VMware Horizon, Citrix DaaS, Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows Operating Systems. Candidate must also be diligent with the creation of technical documentation and able to present internally to customers, peers and leaders. Responsibilities: - Manage a Multi-Pod VMware Horizon Infrastructure. - Support modern Windows 10/11 golden images for all VDI environments - Support patching and application updates - Work with the VDI team to refine and implement logging, alerting, and monitoring - Communicate effectively with Service Reliability Engineers and DevOps team Mandatory Skills Description: - Energetic self-starter with a positive/flexible attitude - Hungry to learn technology in Healthcare IT - Proficient use of scripting technologies (Power, PowerCLI) - Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols - Communication at all levels and the ability to write strong technical documentation - Experience with Logging & Monitoring tools such as Grafana, or an equivalent Nice-to-Have Skills: - Certifications: VMware Certified Professiona - Datacenter Virtualization, VMware Advanced Professional - Desktop Management Design, Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert. - Virtualization experience including VMWare vSphere, VMware Aria Operations, VMware vRealize Orchestrator, Azure Cloud, Microsoft Server and Microsoft Windows 10/11 - Proficient use of orchestration and scripting tools; GitHub, Jenkins, Hashicorp Packer and Terraform.
