Job Description: Wireless Engineer 3 months Remote Phone/Skype Must have experience with MIST, Juniper or Cisco Need 11+ year of experience Candidate Position Description: Responsible in leading the design and architecture for the wireless enterprise and network access control. The role would require infrastructure validation, programming, and installation efforts and will require the ability to work both independently and collaboratively to complete project tasks. Strong understanding of centrally controlled 802.11 wireless systems, including Guest wireless access/control--including topology/design elements. Strong understanding of endpoint authentication systems for wireless (WPA2, PKI, etc.). Strong skills and experience around wireless network technologies, Wireless LAN controller design, implementation, and troubleshooting. Advanced ability to troubleshoot issues with network wired and wireless infrastructure. Knowledge of 802.11 Wireless technologies, specifically on Wireless Controllers. Assess, design, implement, troubleshoot, and documentation. Develop both high-level and detailed implementation and test plans related to wireless enterprise networks. Participate in the evaluation of vendor hardware, software, and wireless communications products where needed. Wireless design and validation. Documentation of advanced enterprise wireless solutions and designs Support internal wireless network infrastructure operational requirements. Experience working in a highly regulated environment (MICS, PCI, SOX) Provide support by performing troubleshooting which may include, but not necessarily be limited to problem recognition, root cause analysis, research, isolation, resolution, follow-up, and documentation. Skills set required: Must be at least 21 years of age. High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a computer science discipline or a comparable level of experience preferred. Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Network Engineer supporting enterprise wireless networks. ITIL V3 Awareness training preferred. Strong practical knowledge of Cisco, Meraki and Mist routers and switches. Must have excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills. Understanding of 802.11 wireless and other mobile technologies. Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications (Public Sector Clearance) and or licenses.
