This is a hybrid role that will work 3 days a week in the office and 2 days a week remote. Job Overview: We are in search of a seasoned and dynamic Data Solutions Architect to spearhead our collaborations with clients, collaborating closely with their technical data engineering teams. The role involves extracting crucial information, formulating comprehensive solution architectures for Data Management Platforms, and overseeing end-to-end project delivery. The focus will be on leading the documentation enhancement project at client Data Warehouse (DWH), aiming to provide detailed insights into Data Sources, Data Models, Ingestion Framework, ETL Inventory, Daily Load Specifications, and overall Maintenance & Support Procedures. You will collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create and implement innovative high-quality solutions, participate in Sales and various pursuits focused on our clients' business needs. You will also contribute to a variety of roles in thought leadership, mentorship, systems analysis, architecture, design, configuration, testing, debugging, and documentation. You will challenge your leading-edge solutions, consultative and business skills through the diversity of work in multiple industry domains. Responsibilities In-depth proficiency in Netezza, DataStage, and MS SQL Server. Thorough understanding of On-Premises solutions and data warehousing concepts. Competence in utilizing BI tools like Power BI, Spotfire, or other relevant tools for data visualization and analysis. Lead the development of architecture diagrams, comprehensive data models, and ingestion workflows throughout the three-month project duration. Design and articulate end-to-end data solutions architecture, covering data integration, storage, processing, and analytics components. Develop detailed procedures for onboarding the new Data Warehouse team. Create a project management roadmap outlining key milestones, deliverables, and timelines. Implement adaptive project management strategies to ensure timely project delivery. Proactively engage with the customer's technical data engineering team to understand business objectives, data requirements, and constraints. Qualifications Proficiency in Netezza, DataStage, and MS SQL Server. Hands on experience utilizing BI tools like Power BI, Spotfire, or other relevant tools for data visualization and analysis. Proven experience as a Data Solutions Architect, showcasing expertise in end-to-end data management. Strong project management skills with a history of timely and successful project delivery. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to diverse audiences. Ability to adapt and innovate in resource-constrained environments. Experience working with relevant technologies and tools in the data management space. Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
