This role will involve close collaboration with our technology partners and requires a strong understanding of data migration techniques, and real-time data streaming technologies like Kafka and Fivetran. Key Responsibilities: Lead the planning, execution, and management of data migration activities. Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data structures, dependencies, and migration requirements. Design and implement efficient data migration strategies, ensuring data integrity and compliance with industry standards. Utilize Fivetran for seamless data integration and Kafka for real-time data streaming and processing. Oversee the migration of extensive customer data and transaction history, ensuring minimal disruption to existing operations. Coordinate with IT, security, and compliance teams to ensure data migration aligns with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the data migration team. Continuously monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data migration processes to enhance performance and efficiency. Prepare and present reports on migration progress, challenges, and outcomes to stakeholders. Requirements: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in data migration, with a focus on customer data. Proven expertise in using data integration tools like Fivetran and real-time data streaming platforms like Kafka. Strong understanding of database structures, data modeling, and ETL processes. Experience with cloud platforms and services. Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
