Please check the below job description and let me know if you have any suitable candidate for the same: Job Description - Linux System Administrator (Redhat/Veritas) Job Location Cypress, CA Please submit Local one Contract 12+ months LinkedIn is required Must have : Redhat Linux, Veritas NetBackup, Data Domain Storage Job Summary Overview / Position Summary Back-end I.T. infrastructure systems administrator for on-premises servers and storage, disaster recovery (DR) data replication, with extensive hands-on to provide support for a 24x7 uptime of production operations for database and application servers, physical servers, storage area networks (SANs) and disk arrays. Essential Job Duties and Functions: Deploy and maintain on-prem Linux virtual machines including day to day administration, storage maintenance, OS/security updates, OS image backups/restores, performance monitoring, software installation, licenses/subscriptions maintenance, printer maintenance using command lines Configure on-prem servers from the factory and make it usable for production including racking, copper/fiber connectivity, virtual connect setup, to hypervisor software installation Provision storage from a disk array to hypervisors and to virtual machines, from array level to OS partition level using logical volume manager and other storage managers Setup and maintain disaster recovery data replication process Perform research and proof of concept installation of new software using minimum interaction with vendor support Assist production support and computer operations with automating scripts for SFTP/FTPS secure file transfers including payload PGP/GPG cryptography Install and maintain backup and recovery software suite from various vendors Communicates well and maintains good relationship with all levels of Information Technology and Business team members to promote secure design and practices across the company that mitigate risks, meet business objective and compliance/regulatory requirements Assists in incident management Performs other related duties assigned Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent Five (5) years hands-on experience in Redhat Linux, Veritas NetBackup, Data Domain Storage.
