Please have a look and let me know if you have any suitable candidates Job Title: DevSecOps Lead Engineer Location : Charlotte, NC No H1,TN Key Responsibilities: Leadership and Team Management: Lead and inspire a cross-functional team of DevSecOps engineers. Foster a collaborative and innovative environment, encouraging continuous learning and development. Security Integration: Develop and implement security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle. Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security controls seamlessly into the CI/CD pipeline. Automation and Tooling: Design, implement, and maintain automated security processes to identify and remediate vulnerabilities. Evaluate, select, and integrate security tools that enhance the overall security posture. Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments and work with stakeholders to prioritize and address identified risks. Develop and maintain incident response plans, ensuring the organization is well-prepared for security incidents. Compliance and Auditing: Stay abreast of industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements. Lead efforts to ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations. Training and Awareness: Conduct training sessions to raise awareness of security practices among development and operations teams. Provide guidance and mentorship to team members on security-related matters. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive security initiatives. Communicate security goals, issues, and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve DevSecOps processes and practices. Stay current on emerging trends and technologies in security and DevOps. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, DevSecOps) is a plus. Proven experience in a DevSecOps role, with a track record of successfully implementing security practices in a fast-paced development environment. Strong leadership and team management skills. In-depth knowledge of security principles, practices, and technologies. Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Python). Familiarity with cloud security principles and practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
